The Changing Geography of Money, Banking and Finance in a Post-Crisis World

The MoFiR group
Based on the previous experience of the La.Bi.S. (Laboratorio Banche, Imprese e Sviluppo) the Money and Finance Research (Mo.Fi.R.) group was established in 2007 on the initiative of three promoting members, Pietro Alessandrini, Michele Fratianni and Alberto Zazzaro.
The group has created a working papers series and in two years has entered the RePEc top 20% Institutions ranking for Italy (37th place in August 2009). The MoFiR organizes the international conference "The Changing Geography of Money, Banking and Finance in a Post-Crisis World" which will be held in October 7-9, 2009 in Ancona. The conference is based on a previous experience, "The Changing Geography of Banking" held in September 2006, whose project has proceeded and produced the publication by Springer of the book "The Changing Geography of Banking and Finance" in 2009.
