The Business Model Conference 2026 is hosted by the Università Politecnica delle Marche (Univpm), located in Ancona, Italy. Founded in 1969, Univpm is a leading public university with more than 16,000 students and approximately 1,300 faculty and staff. Department of Management
Department of Management (DiMa) counts 70 members, including 59 faculty members and 11 technical and administrative staff. Moreover, it collaborates with over 40 research fellows and PhD students. Faculty members work across the fields of Business, Law, Mathematics, and Economics. DiMa's mission is to advance research, teaching, and third mission activities that are scientifically rigorous and relevant to practice.

DiMa has been awarded the prestigious status of "Department of Excellence" by the Italian Ministry of University and Research in both rounds of the national evaluation exercise (2018-2022 and 2023-2027). This recognition is reserved for the top university departments in Italy, based on research quality and scientific projects evaluated by the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR). Through these projects, DiMa has attracted about €10 million in competitive funding.
